ESG Officer (Environmental, Social, and Governance)

PT Maruwai Coal is seeking a dedicated and analytical ESG Officer to join our team in Jakarta. As we continue to prioritize sustainable mining practices, this role is pivotal in driving our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda forward. You will play a critical role in standardizing and implementing ESG policies, ensuring compliance with international standards, and reporting on our sustainability performance.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor ESG initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and provide guidance on sustainable practices. You will also be responsible for training and educating employees on ESG principles, and collaborating with stakeholders to build a more sustainable future for our industry.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement ESG policies and procedures in line with international standards such as GRI, SASB, and ISO 14001.
• Conduct ESG risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, including carbon footprint, water usage, and waste management.
• Train and educate employees on ESG principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and community groups, to build a more sustainable future for our industry.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ESG trends, regulations, and best practices, and provide guidance to the team on relevant developments.
• Prepare and present ESG reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant ESG regulations and standards.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field, with a strong background in environmental management, risk assessment, and compliance.
• Certifications such as LEED AP, GRI, or ISO 14001 are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct ESG risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and educate employees on ESG principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting tools and software, such as Bloomberg ESG, Sustainalytics, or ISS ESG.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.
